Surgió un tema interesante para tratar: El Centro Histórico está trabajando para constituirse en un Centro Comercial Abierto. Creemos que debería adoptar un tema o identidad propia que lo distinga de otros centros comerciales. Siguiendo un poco los ejemplos del barrio de Born (Barcelona) y Altea, se sugirió que el Centro Histórico de Xàbia debería presentar una oferta diferente y original, por ejemplo, reuniendo a jóvenes diseñadores, algo que además está muy en consonancia con los comercios que ya existen. Se decidió que se recopilaría la siguiente información: • Existen muchos locales vacíos en el centro. Se quiere estudiar la posibilidad de reunirlos en una bolsa, del estilo del programa Proha del Ayuntamiento, pero que sería gestionada por la asociación de comerciantes. • Recopilar información sobre Born • Recopilar información sobre la experiencia de Altea y de otros centros similares

An interesting subject came up: The Old Town is working on becoming an Open Comercial Center. We think it should adopt a specific theme or identity that would differentiate it from other commercial centers. Following examples like Born (Barcelona) and Altea, it was suggested that the Old Town should present a unique offer, for example, young designers. This would also mix well with existing commerce. The following information will be gathered: • There are lots of empty stores in the Old Town. We will see if it’s possible to unite them through a “bolsa” similar to the town hall’s Proha programme, but administered by the commerce association. • Gather information on Born • Gather information on Altea or similar centers.
